Default My shrimp

I don't fly fish for salmon much but I'm tying some salmon flies for a guy that liked my trout flies and asked me to have a go. Looks fishy to me but maybe some of the more experienced salmon fly tiers could comment?

Not done much salmoning myself but do have a box of flies that I tied if an occasion comes around. That shrimp certainly looks the biz.

Looks pretty good to me mate, very neatly put together. Not that I'm an expert, but on my own I prefer more more material in the tail, lighter wing and as you have, a good hackle at the head.
