Default My 1st Dabbler or not?

Pure accident this fly; I stuck a #10 long shank in the vice solely to practice whip finishing by hand, hence the thick silk and ended up having a wee play with some materials.
This is the result of about 10 minutes (of very enjoyable) work using materials mostly unknown (cock hackle, pheasant hackle, black silk, yellow uni-floss, peacock hearl, yellow dubbing and some varnish "I think").
I'm on the loch tomorrow evening and could picture a nice bold fly on the Bob, so here it is.
It's a bit rough but I'm still practising

The question is: Is this a Dabbler?

In one word, no.
The main component of a dabbler is a "cloak" of bronze mallard
The Classics: Dabbler
Have a wee squint here.

No worries mate.
There are only a couple of secrets to tying good flies.
Thread tension,
Good materials
and loads and loads and loads and loads of practice.

By the way your fly will catch fish no worries at all.
