Default Hayabusa barbless nymph hooks

Hi! just letting people know that i've just purchased 1000 barbless Hayabusa nymph hooks size 10 for £27 included recorded delivery from Tackle Bargains! i notice that they also have dry version too, in limited sizes though, ian

Thanks for the heads up. I just bought 5,000 of these and the barbless lightweights which make great river dries. They are selling these at less than Fulling Mill paid for them!

what on earth are you going to do with 1000 size 10 hooks? I take it you tie professionally?

hello,
I boght them from my friend who is profesional tyer. They arent bad hooks but hooks surface and shark isnt best qualitte. We wanted to reshaped them but minimal supply is 10k hooks
I'm using them for training -meantime mainly with wet flies. wery good for dace(there is no problem to catch 50+cm), not so bad for trouts(but they have tendence for falling).
Result: good for relax fishing and training, for competion I will not recomended(best choise is hanak HB900)

No i don't! but i tie my own and for friends and 1000 flies isn't very much when i plan to be tying my own flies for the next twenty odd years! fingers crossed,

good luck ian! I'm a beginner to fly tying and it takes me about 45mins a fly right no. The thought of buying 1000 hooks seems completely crazy.
