Default old swannundaze question?

I have some old swannundaze that is the exact color needed to produce some caddis larvae. Although this particular pack of swannundaze is the right color it is too large and thus to stiff to tightly wrap around size 10 and 12 caddis hooks. Have any of you gents had any luck making this stuff more flexible (heat, chemical applications, etc.)
Thanx in advance,
Flymph

To be honest, I'd just forget the swannundaze & use UTC V-Rib.
It's cheap, comes in all the colours & sizes you need & is basically a user-friendly exact copy of swannundaze.
The only possible reasons to use a clearly inferior material is for nostalgia or some form of OCD

i would at least make an attempt at warming it up (boiling pot of water) and then stretching it to possibly the size you want.

if not, there are other product out there to achieve your goal
