Default Cruncher variations

No rocket science here but cruncher variations working for me at the moment as the fish switch onto corixa.

Holo gold cheek, always a good top dropper for me.....

Nice, I fish something very similar, work pretty well early season for me too. I think the red thread is important when after corixa feeders.

Hi Mark,

Lovely flies, they look like size 12's, is that right? cDo you ever fish them in size 10's?

Regards,

John.

Hi Mark, very nice flies. The gold cheek cruncher is a dinger of a fly I have used it for years now and funny I find it best on the top dropper. Its a great fly in a olive hatch on Corrib and I wouldn't be without one.
Again very nice

MOT, yes red holo DB good for Corixa feeders also, with red thread for the tying.

JK, They are 12's but yes 10's work also, just not keen on them as a dropper. Some times hang one NZ style off a booby on the washing line. Cruncher is just a good all round something and nothing fly.

Cheers,
Mark
