First of all comes my First foam daddies ( never tried these before )

liking those daddies very nice also love the nymph can see that taking a lot of fish.any chance of dressings please.

Canny whack a daddy.
I find it a great fly for that stubbourn trout that you have floated everything else over. Show it a daddy and quite often it will have it.

Have you thought of tying the foam in first, so it points forward of the eye ?
Then folding it back over the thorax after the rest of the fly is tied. The whip finish can then be made at the joint thus reducing any possible bulk at the head.
