Oh yes, that's got to work, nicely proportioned and nicely tied.

As an aside, what is it you use to hold the flies for photos, I like it. It looks like a pen/pencil with some UTC wire, but I doubt it is! It looks easier to clone out than one of Robs clips.

Spot on mate, it's the tip of a rotating pencil with tying wire that , co-incidently, was a gift from Rob. Blu-tack as a base/tensioner.

I don't know the original supplier, but I could do with some other colours.

I like that a lot-a cruncher style fly with a sleek hearl body.Ive been trying some diawl bachs this season with a similar body(stripped magenta hearl) and the buzzer feeders seem to love them
