I don't see why not. Like it better than a parasol buzzer
Heavy tippet and a big knot
I have done this with emergers behind a dry with success.

I do the same with a sussi buzzer and it works a treat

i know Wullie the nylon is heavy i was just trying to get something a little firmer to try and keep the buzzer just below the owl
ill try lighter flurocarbon on the next one
its something different you never know may be a fish catcher
thanks for the comments
ill take them on board
