Default Pike fly patterns

Am looking to tie up an order of a dozen pike flies for a forumite, but only have a few patterns as haven't tied many. Anyone have an idea where I can find some patterns please?

Thanks Allan-didn't even realise there was a separate forum for fly dressers-I will enjoy and use it fully. Cheers

Hi, check out spanglefish.com/pikeandpredators
(Edit, didn't do a linky thing) just try googling the above. There are loads of patterns, useful info on the site.

tweak the colours to suit your area, the middle picture spread open the mylar tubbing to form the tail, we have had pike to 30lb on these. I know they look like nothing swimming alive or dead but they seem to turn the pike on

Thanks for the pike fly ideas guys. i managed to do eighteen and some variations with various combinations, colours and flash and if I had a camera I'd take pics and post them, but I don't, but I will let 141saxon report on how well they do and either he or I will let you know how he gets on when he has a hol in France. He's also going to try for some largemouth bass and carp though don't think he'll be using a fly for the carp

thanks hareslug straight forward to tie the red is crosscut rabbit strip and then a magnum strip over the back. The range of colours done in zonker strips by hareline now is fantastic just let you imagination run wild. Orange has still been the colour to beat.
