I've been fairly busy at the bench tonight. In a flytying sense I have travelled from Caithness to Lanarkshire... A Clyde fly of good repute ,The Magpie and Silver.

A lovely tie of a classic fly, I used it on the Clyde gloaming fishing a few years ago, then some locals fished through and taught me how to do it properly.

It one that I also tie and can be very productive , the wing doesnt tend to last long but when wet i dont think it matters.
