Full of information on flies materials dyeing weather and entomology. It is already sold out on Amazon I got my copy at Arran View Fishery in East Ayrshire but have noticed the book is selling on ebay. well worth a look

Is the section on materials dying any good or just a high level discussion?
I am still trying to get the Irish & Orkney colours right

The dyeing section is ok. Whether it is brilliant or not I would have to leave with you to decide.

But what is good is the fact that the author shows flies tyed with mostly obtainable materials which is pretty good as some of these patterns usually demand bits and bobs that have gone out with the last ice age.
