Default Bob's Bits

What a good fly this is. Obviously, I'd read about it, but being relatively new to dry fly, it wasn't till seeing Davie McPhail's vid that I had a go at it myself.

So far, I've only fished the black version, but it's been doing well for me on the lochs. Fast becoming one of those flies I wouldn't be without. You just know it's going to get walloped!

I would agree Shpeil
It is my number one still water dry (ok emerger). In claret, fire brown or red no wing or rib, sparse body of seals fur, no sub, and just a hint of hackle.
Nice easy fly for the beginner. Tied in minutes and the more it's 'used' the better it catches.

I tied a number of these for the rivers and have caught a bucket load of fish. Great little fly
