Most are club waters and not commercial fisheries so info can be hard to find. I have only fished Lochenbrek and Loch Roan in the recent past, both respond to typical rainbow tactics no suprises.
Not evr fished Whinyeon, Earlston or carsfad and last time I fished Dee was over 20 years ago. The only thing I could advise about Dee is that it is best fished late evening into dark.

Whinyeon if full of pike the now. was up there the other day, waste of time really but yes lochenbrek holds a greater head of fish.
Loch dee is worth the trek if you want some good wild brown fishing and it is worth waiting till evening. take a tent and camp. lovely setting. The Lochs north of St Johns Town of Dalry is good i.e Carsfad may even have some ST in them at the bottom end. Theres a good fishery near Castle douglas ( i have forgotten the name of it but the tackle shop in CD will sort you out )
My family have a holiday home at St Johns town of dalry and a caravan at Sandgreen near Gatehouse of fleet. Theres some good river water near Newton Stewart if you want some sea trout and salmon fishing
