Hi there, can I ask if anyone has used these,
J:son Wing Burners
J:son Wing Burners
I'm looking at investing in some but dont know what size to purchase, I tie mainly on size 16 hooks, can anyone help?

Martin,

The J Son burners are sold according to size so place your preferred hook in the vice, measure the shank length then add half as much again to work out the wing length.

The J Son burners are sized as follows:

8-10mm - model C4
12-14mm - model C3
16-18mm - model C2
20-22mm - model C1

You can always "tweak" the brass ones with a set of fine warding or needle files if they're to large.
