Default Sedgehogs and spiders

After watching Davy McPhail tie an alder sedgehog it inspired me to have a go at a few sedgehogs myself as I've never tied any before, I can definitely say that its not as easy as he makes it look, but then he's Davy McPhail Anyway I tied four and ran out of hooks just when I was starting to get the hang of it but still need a bit of work to get them how I'd like them. These are tied on Kamasan B100's size 12. Also a couple of spiders as a dessert

Thanks for looking and all comments welcome

If those are the sub-pars, I like them a lot. Be scary when you get good at them!

Nice as always

Nice Mark, been having a go at these also (Sedgehogs and hedgehogs). As you say bit of a handful at first but the method soon becomes clear. They sure catch fish to.

Pearl green and olive one from last night.

Nice Flies Mark-I tried a few, but didn't get them to look anywhere near as good as yours-ended up being more "Sedge Muddlers" than hogs, but then I gave up too easily I suppose!
