Default Golden sundowner

This was my last kamasan B175 size 10 so went for something a bit brighter. well the tail anyway, this might be good for both stillwater and river fishing, maybe on smaller hooks for the river.

Golden sundowner

Thread - pearsalls salmonberry
Tail - globrite no. 4
Body - seals fur (red, fiery brown, golden olive mix)
Rib - copper wire
Palmer hackle - creamy orange saddle hackle
Neck hackle - cree cock hackle
Light cloaking of bronze mallard

will pull a few on some stillwaters i see what you mean about the rivers..
a red tag has its day on the rivers/streams so worth a chuck..
the perch will have a dig if nothing else..
