Is it possible that you have confused it with the elver fly which is still a popular sea trout pattern , if so I think you will find an sbs in the tying section . I am afraid I am not familiar with the leven fry but then again not being from those parts .......... PJ.

I think youv'e probably confused a few people formula1fly as youv'e put 'leven fry' in your thread title and then 'eleven fry' in your query. So do you mean the number eleven? or do you mean leven as in Loch Leven or have you spelt the word incorrectly somehow? think you might have to be more specific i.e. where did you see or here about this fly? etc.....

Iv never heard of the Leven Fry, nor has anyone iv asked, and some of them iv asked have fished the loch for a very long time, unless its a very new pattern or a very well kept secret! as said already, a bit of background may make it easier for folk to help. (best "fry" immitation for leven would be the Humungus maybe)

I would agree, careless spelling and no punctuation don't help clear it up either.

Likewise, never heard of a leven fry or an eleven fry. Some more information to track down the offending fly would be useful
