Default brown bugs

I have tiny brown bugs in my room and i swear they are breeding more and more. i tried sticking them outside during the harsh winter we had in Scotland and that seemed to have worked, BUT with the recent warm weather they are appearing out the woodwork basically and i am killing about 8 / 9 every other day lol.

is there anyway i can get rid without chucking the materials out ?.
mum has already told me i aint sticking them anywhere near the microwave or oven or freezer lol.
so i have a feeling the only other option is dumping the materials like cape , seals fur and feathers .

James ,
go get some mothballs ,a good hardware shop will do them stick your materials in a sealed box with the moth balls and leave them there for a couple of weeks in the warmest place you can find
leave lots of room for the fumes from the moth balls to permeate every thing .
sad too say all your naturals will stink of the balls but better that than loose them .

i have never actually seen anything in the natural materials as such.
but i have seen what looks like bits of dirt when i pick up a cape come out of it, and i once had a small grub thing on the back of my hand just after handling the cape.
and in one or two bags of seals fur i have noticed a few small black bits.

will give the moth balls a go.

bookworm and woodworm are the same thing not sure if its exactly or just similar. The adults look like small beetles maybe 2mm long. I had a big problem with them in my last house - started in the damp structural timber (shoddy landlord!) spread to my woodworking timber and a lot of my books. So if thats what it is you'll need to treat more than just your fly tying materials!

If it is just in your materials what about a friends micro?
