Default Mono thread flies + one

Tied these flies using some fine mono I spooled onto an old spool. Not sure how durable they'll be, don't want to put varnish over and lose the body effect, maybe some varnish underneath the body?

Sorry about the photos, these are done of size 16s which the camera never likes, can do 4/0 - 14 and then 18 -22, just doesn't focus onto size 16s? the dubbed thorax should be pearl litebrite but this hasn't came out either, any ideas?

The last flie was just tied as I found that hook on the table.

Mono buzzers work well over red hooks or on top of UTC 70 (for colour) spinned counter clock wise to flatten. Or other thin threads.
