2nd batch of flies i have tyed

these are only the 2nd batch of flies i have ever tyed. Watching youtube and also some tips on the forum. Will just have to wait and see if they catch me owt






















what everyones opinions?

RAF Leuchers by any chance? I know it well, nice jet there by the way. yes these are very good second attempts delboy, they have the basic looks of decent flies and will catch fish, just need to work at your proportions a bit but you should be very happy with those.

not bad for a second batch should catch fish,the 8th one the thorax cover seems to be a good way along the hook shank you can cure that by getting some longshank hooks.you know what they say "practice makes perfect"

Not bad at all. Just need to add some more coats of varnish on those buzzers.

DelBoy if that is only your second attempt at fly tying you are most DEFINITELY going the right way! Mine don't look much better and I won't admit how long I've been at it!
