Default Can you ID this Fly

Hi All,

I fished Toft Newton a couple of evenings this week and got on quite well.

I was using this fly until it got mangled by one I lost it was a winged fly with a Mottled Brown wing.

This is what is left of it.

I have no idea of the name of it and I have looked at a couple of web sites and have not found anything that looks like it.

Looks like a soilder palmer with the hackle ripped off.

yes I d say it was a soldier palmer,with hackle gone.
