Tied these useing a recent purchase, wonder if you know what tied on size 14's.

Thats a good guess emerger1981 even though I have a stuffed albatross on the mantlepiece (shhh don't tell anyone) but I'm afraid it's wrong
The body is the stem fron a dyed olive cock hackle which gives a nice tapered effect.

Looks like Snipe hackle on the top spider.

Nice flies they look deadly.

Dubbed as sparse as the mother in laws beard
