Depends on the pattern of nymph.

no mate, nymph hooks are generally longer in the shank to other hooks but you can probably get away with using any straight hook for the pattern..
like steve said, what is the nymph your on about?

How about a Kamasan B400 emerger/surface film

Pretty much a standard medium shank hook and very similar to the B175 but slightly finer.

Try Mustad R60 hooks - slightly longer shank than a b175

How's about the Kamasan B420 Sedge?
I love the shape of it & it works with a wide variety of nymph, buzzer, shrimp & grub patterns.
