Default Sedges

I am getting ready for the warm summer nights when the sedges come out in force.
I have been experimenting tonight with loop wing emergers, i am happy with the results

Nice view -never thought about it before but they seem to sit lower in the water than para or sugar cube emergers;interesting

Cast them out, if you see a trout in the area, give them a pull under and let them float back up.

Watch out for the whoosh take!!!!!!!!

I'll bet you have to tie them on with your back to the water, they look really deadly.

Reidy, bizarrely enough, my name is Reidy too, and I have also tied a few of these loopwings too aswell, along with other CDC emerger pupa versions! Also CDC and latex type ones incorporating hares ear, that will be fished deeper subsurface under a largish deer hair dry.

I'm told that the sedge tied by Ollie Edwards in his dvd ( bubble wing caddis is also class , so have those too! )

All I need now is some warm weather!

Last season as a relative newbie I only cottoned onto how important sedges were - this season I'm armed and dangerous!
