Default "Feather Extensions" ruining the price of saddles???

Seeing as this "art" is becoming more and more popular, I have been searching other catergoires to try and find some cheap deals on saddles, dyed and natural.....Whilst having a clearout of my "watched items" on my ebay account... I stumbled on this....

Blood Claret Metz Cock Saddle - Feather Hair Extensions | eBay UK

Now this is not a slight on the seller or the buyer, but it's getting beyond a bloody joke now...£155 effing quid for a saddle!!!!!!

Another search found resulted in a find of many saddles starting at the measley sum of £40!! FFS! At this rate, fly tying will become an extinct art.....

Hopefully, fly tying will outlive this hair extension craze!

I hope Gerry managed to get that one posted on time!

Must admit I've cashed in a few saddles that I wasn't using, and I am in the process of selling a few more. This craze will be over in 6 months and i will buy them back again, in the meantime they have part financed a new TCX

BTW I've seen dyed whiting grizzles go for approx £350 over the last few weeks

There was a magenta grizzle that went for more that I cant find but here's a few examples.

whiting hackle | eBay UK

If you have 15 then if I was you I'd cash a few in, you can always halve them if your worried you might need.

Here is the most ridiculous lot, yet they have sold 1.
Carl, I bet you could offer multiple lots like these without even impacting on your collection.

I red on a us board that someone is selling the things for 2 dollar a feather, multiply that by what's on a saddle, much more I suspect than those capes are going for.

Dad thinks I should get a job over the summer, I think selling some saddles may cover this
