Default Indicator Blobs! NOOOOO!

Well i know some people on here hate fishing the indicator. But as say "Each to their own" As long as the rules are not being broken then its ok. I fish the indicator when i go to still waters and enjoy doing so. Anyway These are some patterns that work very well for me.

Sunburst GM12 Blob

UV Coral Blob

How many do you fish at a time?
Just started using the Bung/indicator and have had a few comments about "float fishing" would have to make sure i was alone on the lake before using those

What beads are you using?

Have you tried lead or tungsten under the fritz instead of the bead heads Andy ?

The coral and GM12 was from Bigreel. The fire red and Aqua Is from site member Alimar and the holographic is from Bill mcillroy.

All of it is very good fritz. I have some more holographic fritz but didnt take pictures of those blobs but will do as its nice stuff.

Alright Fred. yeah i have tried using lead and tungsten under the body. For some reason i just prefer the gold beads. Just personal choice really.

I dont think it makes really much difference as i have tried both gold head and lead blobs in exactly the same colour and caught fish both ways.

TBH on most of my flies that are weighted i use a bead rather than lead.

I only use one blob at a time under the bung on small still waters. On some of the larger waters i might use 3 to cover a range of depths in the deeper waters.

Normally when i use 3 i will use the gold head blob on the point and 2 other un-weighted ones for droppers.

I use 4mm beads on kamasan B175 Hooks. I have tried using blob hooks but i find they bump off more fish than the kamasan hooks.

Nice lookimg blobs Andy.I guess as they are not to international rules due to the weight you can use whatever style/size hook you want

Serious question Andy.. you use those, in conjunction with an indicator... and it gives you pleasure?

It would certainly give me pleasure to watch! I used to see that sort of antic when I fished Bank House half a dozen years ago - usually ex coarse anglers new to the fluff chucking side.....where high scores in the fishery log book were the priority over our branch of the sport's higher aesthetic principles.
