Thumbs up Barbless Carp hooks

Hi Guys

I like playing with hooks and lately ive been playing with these.................

First Korum S3 size 6

This is my favorite, just a cracking hook however not cheap thse cost me £2.50 for ten on sale !! but there lovely

Second Kamasan B775 size 6

Again very expensive, but a lovely hook.................

Last Partridge F3 size 6

These are £1 for ten, slightly longer shank and a lovely shape.

Heres all three together just to show not all size 6 are equal !

I been using them for predator patterns be it fresh or salt water, im amazed ALL the salt water fly hooks ive seen are barbed

While i often use barbed hooks crushed they are not as good as hooks that are manufactured barbless. I only tie proven trusted killer patterns on these expensive hooks, ive a "deadly" brown trout lure that i will be tying up on the Korum S3 hooks

Plus its fun to play with different hooks ! Its amazing how different a pattern can look tied on different hook's ! It can completely change them, some times for better others times not !

Ive used carp hooks and still have a huge selection actually. Some i use and some i dont. I mainly used them for tying some blobs but now seem to stick to B175 for blobs now. love some of the tiny carp hooks As they make great little midges.
