Default Taxidermy

Was just looking on eBay for cheap capes ect. Stumbled across taxidermy.

Is it possible to buy a bird and use it for fly tying??

Click the image to open in full size.

Cheers

Pricey way of obtaining feathers - and bear in mind that the carcass may be YEARS old - dry, brittle hackles!

Kind regards

If you want to know about taxidermy you would be best going onto the Classic Fly tying forum and asking there, they certainly know about it there.
