This is just simply my fav fly ever and i can tie it now very well but takes me 3 times longer than davie..he makes it look so easy

That's the one that caught my eye too, and yes, I find it quite tricky to tie as well. Couldn't find the body material he recommends so I've just been using wool. Seems to work ok. I also tied up some with amber and green bodies. And after all that, I have caught absolutely nowt on them! Mind you, I've not given them a fair crack yet.

Its a super looking pattern which really eats up the time when I've attempted to tie it.

that chunky little caddis pupa is a good fly and allot easier to tie than the other body!
Davie stays about 20 miles from me and i feel like kidnapping him and forcing him to teach me all he knows as he makes it look so easy lol
