Default M8 Pheasant!

Just tied this . The front hackle was taken from this roadkill which I acqquired from the M8 last Saturday

What type of pheasant is that? Certainly a cock bird but it's not a golden pheasant is it? Thanks

OJ, nice fly. Is that a normal colour for your Ring-necks? seems lighter than the ones I normally see.

no damaged wings or blood, not a feather out of place thats a bit of luck..
landed on grass aswell

Honestly folks! This bird was lying next to the hard shoulder of the M8 near Newhouse. It didnt appear to be damaged apart from being em! well, dead. which I thought was strange. I don't know what kind of Pheasant it is. Not clued up on the subject. I have seen them with a darker brown tail feather though.
