21st Century Czech Nymphs

I love using new materials for old flies and giving them a try. I tied these in 12s and managed 8 fish but for some reason i was getting so many tugs but not enough hook ups. So i decided to tie them on 16s to see if i get more fish landed.

Don't river fish so my knowledge of CN's is limited,but i like the way you have incorporated new materials into them.Nice flies those

They seem to work well enough apart from the poor hook ups in the larger sizes.

Could have been the hooks you're using or tying the flies too far round the bend, or too thickly in the body closing the gap. you wouldn't be on you're own on this.
I've been tying buzzers and some dries with uv, have worked more than alright.

Keep up the good thinking and tying.

tbh i truly think it was the size of the hooks. But we will see

I dont know Exactly if it is the hook size but its just a theory hopefully it works
