Default A few nymphs

Just tied some nymphs for a change, all tied on kamasan B175's size 14.

I've been asked to add the recipe for this one above so here it is;-

Thread - Pearsall's 6b
Tail - partridge dyed olive
Body - brown goose biot
Thorax - narural and olive hare mixed
Thorax cover - tip of a brown olive hackle tied in near the tip
Throat hackle - partridge dyed olive

Those are beautiful ties!

Do you like making such a small body over that hook? I mean, your nymphs look like a #16 on a #14 hook, , I love them!

Thanks boorod and ngoles, I do tend to tie the bodies a wee bit on the short side, comes mainly from tying spider patterns which tends to show up in other things also, just a habit I guess but thanks for asking.

There is something about the 1st one that does it for me in particular, most likely the wild scruffy look.
