Default sedge hatch

hi guys , was wondering what your best fly is for a sedge hatch ,,just as they're emerging ??? ..I heard an Invicta is good ...

An Invicta would be spot on.
Lots of modern sedge emerger patterns out there.
Also a Partridge and orange can be deadly

I like the "deer hair emerger" good pattern for the loughs when the sedge is hatching..

The Lafontaine sparkle pupa emerger is a great caddis emerger pattern fished in the film. The sparkle yarn shuck gives just the right appearance. Another that works really well is a caddis pattern tied hackleless with a body of a cdc wrapped on the hook and a very sparse deer/elk hair overwing
