Default Pigeon tail feather

found a couple of pigeon tail feathers in the garden wondered if there is a use for them in fly tying?

I'm not aware of any specific pattern that specifies pigeon feathers. I'm sure that we would already be useing them, if someone had found that they were great for something, but try them and see. You never know, you might just as well invent a new pattern.

Feathers from pigeon's disintegrate very rapidly when wet, hence the lack of pattens.
