Default Woolley Buggers

Hi all

Want to tie up a couple of easy streamers with my 5 yr old daughter for river fishing - reckon woollies might be the best option.

Can anyone advise what hook i should get ( I'm not looking for a huge lure - something small would be fine ) and what materials i would need?

Thanks

I'd also go with the Kamasan B830.
It's a great default lure hook.

As you are looking toward the smaller streamers / lures for river work i would recommend barbless, quite often the hook hold will be inside the mouth with these smaller patterns.
Tiemco TMC 3769SP-BL #12 for a smaller streamer / taddy...... or TMC 3761SP-BL #10 for an average size. Jig hooks are also very good for added movement and helping your fly clear the bottom.

A 4mm bead will be quite big for a smaller pattern { if thats what your tying }..... 3.5mm would be more than enough, 3.3mm would be sound.
