These are some buzzers that have done well for me so far this season.

Nice buzzers and DB too.
Like your bloodworm, I tie mine with spanflex and varnished to give a translucency to it. Have you used a tubing?

No its just flexi floss wrapped round in touching turns, then varnished. Only put one coat of varnish on it so that must be why.

Here's the recipe for the first one:

Hook: B110 size 10
Body: black utc 140 thread
Rib: black flexi floss
Tag: red holographic
Thorax: build up of thread
Cheeks: orange goose biots
Fly then coated 3 or 4 times in Sally hansons
