attach your hackle pliers to the butt and wrap them like hackle. no fingers required

All About Biots

The biots I sell are long enough to tie a size 12 comfortably - I find that if you wrap the first 1 or 2 turns by hand, then grip the end of the biot with some hackle pliers as flytire suggests, you rarely suffer breakages.
