Default Firey gosling mayfly

Another new pattern that was born last season and getting ready for the new one.
A pattern that would take a salmon on the loughs.Trout take this pattern hard as I found on corrib last season.

Dressing as follows.
Tail;cock pheasant dyed firey brown
rib;oval silver
Body;dyed seals fur-hot orange and firey brown mix-equal parts
Front hackle;hot orange cock (chinese)
head hackle;mallard flank feather dyed hot orange
Thread;red

Lovely fly, Very big and bright Maybe I should try one of these in a lake to see what happens.

Great flies !
I'm always looking for some replacement for the frances.
Red ally shrimp came close last season but the frances still remains unbeaten.
