Default What to do with it

Found a calf tail someone gave me a while back after a dyeing ,mistake, the tail was supposed to be a bright olive colour but came out like a cross between chartreuse and olive.

Can think what to tie with it.

Now Scratch that is a good suggestion, a much better alternative to calf tail is goats tail which is much thinner, this is what I normally use but just found it a box and want to do something with it.

Mark, now that I've tried it I second your views of it

Put it in the bin, nasty crinkly stuff, and a horrible colour to boot

It can always be over-dyed black, I've never had any real problems tying with it. Like most other things, it's just a matter of technique. Unless you've got a tail which has curved as well as crinkly hairs on it, in which case it's probably one to put in the big grey temporary storage container outside.

I used Kool-Aid powder drink to change the colour from the bright green to the olive. The picture is a before and after illustration.
