This is tied on a kamasan B420 sedge hook size 14.

Thread - pearsalls light olive
Body - mole and water rat mixed
Thorax - grey hare
Rib = fine silver wire
Hackle - small badger

Love the mole and water rat combo. Its like something out of the wind in the willows

Thanks falsecast and andypandy, wind in the willows eh, first time I've had my flies compared to that....interesting. Well you know what you get if you cross a water rat with a mole - a water vole, do ya get it? you substitute the m in mole with a v and....oh nevermind.

Based on a spider dabhoy so kept it sparse but I know you vikings like em thicker set

i was waiting for someone to say that loopy, I normally am quite economical with the bodyfluff but felt a little more extravagant here so thought why not, it won't get cold will it......sniff
