Default Shuttleworth special

This was devised by reg shuttleworth from settle....only jokin well it sounded good any road. Its tied on a kamasan B175 size 14.

Thread - pearsalls gold or orange
Rib - as above with golden olive seals fur turning to yellow seals fur in thorax area.
Hackle - woodcock

Thanks corky, the hackle is just wound, just over one turn and quite sparse, upperwing covert feather of the woodcock.

Thanks everyone much appreciated. You might find that the hackle fibres towards the pointed end of the woodcock feather tend to stick closer to the hook shank, whereas those slightly further away will splay out more, depends on the effect you want to create, I wanted mine to have a more streamlined effect so it could maybe mistaken for a nymph or possibly the emerging phase of an insect.
