Default Suggestions for use of blackbird feathers

Hi,
Got some nice fluffy blackbird feathers from a female blackbird that took a head long flight into next door's window, seem to be fairly webby so might be good for some spidery type wet flies or flymphs. Any suggestions as to what to team them with? They are a bluey grey (I know, sounds strange but that is their colour).

Cheers,

Paul

Definitely spiders, there are a few that ask for the use of blackbird (before the taking of blackbirds was banned obviously). Any of the black spider types like stewarts black spider would be good. I found another chaffinch last week that had argued with a window, beautiful feathers, pinky and greeny blue I think anyway, but couldn't bring myself to pluck it, such a beautiful bird so just buried it instead.

I agree with reidy you'll get a good few clyde style patterns out of those for wet flies, roll that wing up.
