Default Another wee spider sat down beside her

Here's another wee spider tied on a kamasan B525 size 14, the body is sparsely dubbed with water rat with a thorax of heavier dubbed water rat, in other words lots of water rat going on, this will suggest lots of movement in the water. Hackle is jackdaw and I've used pearsall's salmonberry.

Thanks for looking and I'll let you know how it does as I'll be fishing it at the weekend.

cheers

mark

Thanks boorod, think I'll test it tonite and see how it does. I got the water rat off phil at fly tying boutique, abit ago now so don't know if he still has it, I initially wanted possum but he recommended this which is good for spiders anyway and nice to work with. Ooh ya can't beat a nice bit a water rat.

Nice.

Which part of the jackdaw did you use for the hackle? Covert feather?

It is usually a scalp or neck feather...
