Done a nice job of tying the fly! Although it looks more like a March Brown or a brown sedge pattern than a Mallard & Claret.

Have you got any other pictures with a side on view ?
I can see that you have used cock hackle where as it is normally hen is there a specific reason behind this.

I don't have hen hackle, lol

Will try a side on spic but the camera just refused to take one last night

Not bad, but the cock hackle is not doing it any favours. You could have swept the fibres back and locked them down with a turn of thread.
