Okay, less mental more, "mmmm I'd use that."

Thread: Black floss
Tail: The usual
Body: Silver tinsel
Rib: Medium silver wire
Body hackle: Grizzle and red cock wound together
Thorax: Peachy, pink Glister
Head: Red dyed peacock herl

I think it needs more "teal" effect. Good fly but a bit far removed from the original.

I quite like this, I think the herl at the front is a nice twist (no pun intended) just a wee bit too much red in it for me though but very well tied and imaginitive, well done.
