Ok welcome to stage 3 fly boffins (or should I call you the fish eggheads). There will be 5 questions on this fly that I have just tied today and you will have to get 3 or more of these questions correct to go into the next round, please study this fly very carefully.....very carefully indeed.
The questions are as follows;-
1. How many GP tippets are there that make up the tail, you can actually see them all if you look carefully or you might have a wild guess?
2. The body of the fly is made up of 2 different materials, one is natural the other is synthetic, what I want to know is what is the natural material and its colour?
3. Relating to the above question, what is the synthetic material? you don't have to name the colour of it.
4. Look closely at the wings and tell me which bird you think these feathers have come from?
5. The throat hackle is partridge, but what colour has it been dyed?
Remember you have to answer at least 3 questions correctly to go through to stage 4 and like before you have up to 6.00pm tomorrow to answer them and you can change the answers as many times as you like up until that time.
Good luck to you all.
cheers
