If I had them I wouldn't be swapping them I'd be keeping them for myself....very nice indeedy.

Very, very nice! In the smaller sizes (12 long shank up to 8 standard shank) they look like they would be ideal for early in the Drake season when the fish are still a bit uncertain in the way they take them.

What did you use for the wings? How are they for staying afloat? I see you have an increased area of hackle.

Great flies!
I have had some amazing success with a massive Pink Thing that I use. God knows what it is about this thing but it catches when more traditional and popular Mayflies fail, anyone any idea why?

It looks like pink ping pong ball on the water!

RichardW not to give you a big head but it was actually your blog which inspired me to tie them. The wing is white calf tail. The extended hackling at the thorax helps to ensure they float alright and the calf tail should help them land the correct way up.
