Default dyed grizzle hen hackles

Hi All
Was impressed with the "crippler" concept in Aprils T&S and fancied having a go at some. Tried to source some dyed grizzle hen hackles but they seem to be like hens teeth if you'll pardon the pun. Anyone know of a source?

Try Christine at Chevron, she had some really nice stuff in Denmary over the weekend, but I do know her stock is not back in the UK for a couple of weeks
you should be able to reach her through the Chevron contacts

Cheers

I ended up buying Metz grizzle hen capes from Tom Savilles and dyeing them myself (with pleasing results) after being let down by Nigel at Lakeland.Despite having bought them from his Ebay shop only one turned up, the others were listed as out of stock. When I phoned him to chase up my promised refund I asked him how he had them listed on Ebay, if he was out of stock, and he replied he had had a run on them since the T&S article, and I should have phoned him. I found his attitude quite belligerent, and will avoid in future- he always seems out of stock of everything I want, anyway.

Default grizzle capes

Spoke to Phil Holding Fly Tying Boutique and he told me due to Demand from the fashion industry they may not be any volume of Capes until the Autumm but l did get a Kingfisher Blue grizzle Hen for Jay sub worth giving him a ring.
Good advice and he will try to put you right .
