Default First trout of the season goes to...

Voodoo child, one of my own creations, absolutely zilch showing at the surface of my local river but managed to get a brownie about quarter of a pound.....whooopeee!

congrats.. Ive tried a number of dries in the last couple of weeks and havent had anything yet..

Thanks both, its still just slightly early yet for me, I usually start about mid april when its warming up and theres more surface and sub surface activity but its nice to have some warm up casting I suppose.
