Default First fish on my own buzzer.

Fishing by the trees on No.3 tank at Barrow yesterday, I first saw the flash, and then felt the pull, of a 1lb fin-perfect brownie, that had taken a fancy to one of my Mk. 1 buzzers on the lift.

Had to hand the rod to my pal while I scrambled down the six foot wall to release the fish in the water, breaking the screen on my phone in the process, but I'm chuffed to say the least.

Only a few naturals coming off still. Bring on the big hatches.

This one broke my duck, he's retired now.

Nice one Mike.
Always good when those first flies do the business.

Well done Mike, sorry about the phone though. Still there's hope for you yet, as a buzzer-tyer. Must be that influence from Rob....

Thanks guys, I still have a row of buzzers from Rob, which I know work, and the temptation to say sod it and tie them on has been great.

The hooks and goose biots were a gift from the great man himself also. I had a buzzer-tying frenzy in the winter and have only tied a dozen or so in the last week, but with better materials, and more of the focus that they allow.

Fresh off the vice.
